Photography has been a passion of mine since high school. In fact, my first job was working in a camera store developing photographs and selling cameras. Back then I spent most of my time shooting sports. I actually didn't want anything to do with portrait photography at the time…
Fast forward a bit to the birth of my daughter Emma. I quickly realized that photographing people, especially children is quite challenging. The parallel between sports and documentary portraiture became quite clear-many times you only get one chance to capture a moment that may never happen again. My love of photography was rekindled and turned in a new and much more satisfying direction.
What you can expect from me is simple: I will provide you with great photos, regardless of the subject. You won't get any of the cliché images or corny looking poses; you'll simply get real life.
